About The Job You’re Considering
We are seeking an experienced Web Technology Manager (Vue.js) to lead a small development team while driving the design, architecture, and development of modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Vue.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, application architecture, and Agile software development practices. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can design scalable solutions from the ground up, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to security, performance, and development best practices.
Your Role
- Lead and mentor a small web development team, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications from scratch.
- Develop and maintain user-facing applications using Vue.js.
- Establish strong application foundations using modern client-side frameworks and development standards.
- Monitor and address security updates, vulnerabilities, and dependency management within Vue.js and related technologies.
- Recommend and implement upgrades and enhancements to maintain modern security and development best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to define technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), leveraging Agile methodologies.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues with strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure development of efficient, secure, clean, and well-documented code.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in JavaScript, Vue.js, and modern web technologies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.
Your Skills and Experience
- 6-8+ years of experience in web application design and development.
- Experience leading or managing a small software development team.
- 2+ years of strong hands-on experience with Vue.js (required).
- Strong experience designing applications from scratch and building scalable architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern JavaScript development practices.
- Strong expertise in Vue.js and its core concepts, including:Components,Reactivity,Virtual DOM
- Experience with the Vue.js ecosystem:Vue CLI ,Vuex ,Vue Router ,Nuxt.js
- Strong knowledge of: HTML5 , CSS3,Sass/Less
- Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and related use cases.
- Knowledge of both Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming principles.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Ability to develop secure, high-quality, maintainable, and performant applications.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as:Jest,Mocha
- Proficiency with modern development tools including:Babel,Webpack,Git
- Candidate must be able to work onsite in Miami a minimum of 4 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Node.js development experience.
- Experience with RESTful services and API integrations.
- Cross-browser application development expertise.
- Knowledge of web analytics and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Version control systems including:Git , Bitbucket , SVN

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 -$193,440
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
