Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to support a Cloud-based mission critical systems. As the Cloud Developer, you will work with various technical and engineering teams to design, develop, implement, optimize, and maintain Cloud-based solutions. We are looking for Cloud Developer with demonstrated experience developing in Azure or AWS Cloud.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and support Java/Spring Boot microservices with emphasis on resilience and portability.

• Deliver software and software builds and releases (which includes the design, development, support of builds, scripts, and installation procedure)

• Build data access layers using Spring JPA / Spring Data, with experience in relational databases.

• Deliver software and software builds and releases (which includes the design, development, support of builds, scripts, and installation procedure)

• Implement dynamically scalable and highly available services on cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and deploy production systems

• Conduct automated unit/integration testing with JUnit, Jest, React Test Library

• Integrate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to automate deployments in both production and DR environments.

• Participate in DR drills, validating failover/failback procedures, RTO, and RPO objectives.

• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, apply patches, and ensure secure DevSecOps practices.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to align DR architecture with enterprise security and availability standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing and maintaining Cloud-based solutions.

• Skilled in Docker for building and managing containerized services.

• Proficient in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA / Spring Data.

• Experience integrating secure and resilient CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven experience in identifying and resolving application security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP issues, dependency patching).

• Understanding of container orchestration and DR principles in cloud/on-prem environments.

Qualifications:

• Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem distributions).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.

• Prior involvement in DR planning, testing, and post-mortem analysis.

Salary Transparency:

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
