Job Title: Java Developer Experience with COBOL and Lotus Notes
Location: Atlanta, GA/Chicago, IL
Job Type: Full Time with Benefits
- Experience: 5-8 Years
- Location: Atlanta/ChicagoPrimary Skill: Java, SpringBoot, REST API, Open API Specification, SOAP , COBOL , Lotus Notes
- Secondary Skill: MuleSoft, Azure Cloud, DB2
- Hands-on experience in developing REST API and Microservices using Java /Spring Boot
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in creating Open API spec per REST standards
- Strong understanding for deployment of API proxy on MuleSoft Flex Gateway
- Experience integrating with DB2, SOAP, Mainframe and REST services
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, design patterns and monitoring tools
- Conduct a comprehensive review, analysis, and discovery of current processes (business and technical/automated) as they pertain to Recovery Accounting (a.k.a Charge-offs) for Consumer Loans and Credit Cards
- Gather information, data, and insights into charge-offs to identify:
- Systems in use
- Points of contact
- Process gaps
- Third party vendors
Regarding qualifications, they will need to:
- Document and evaluate business processes for improvements
- Document and evaluate automated process for improvements
- Read source code (mostly COBOL, JAVA, and Lotus Notes) to understand processes to document in layman terms for a business person to understand
- Collaborate to define Features for future development opportunities to create a new charge-off process for both Consumer Loans and Credit Cards.
