Capgemini is hiring an Onsite AI-GECX / FDE Engineer to work with a scrum team in an onshore-offshore delivery model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting AI-enabled applications and services using Python, cloud technologies, APIs, and modern agent frameworks while collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Python and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices that support enterprise-scale customer experience solutions. 
• Develop AI-enabled workflows leveraging Vertex AI, agent tools, and related AI services.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/JSON APIs and backend services. 
• Build scalable and secure cloud-based applications following modern engineering best practices. 
• Support AI-GECX solutions by implementing business workflows and customer experience patterns.

Your skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong focus on Python application development. 
• Hands-on experience with Python, REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and modern software development practices. 
• Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful services and API integrations. 
• Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-native application deployment. 
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development. 
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL development.
• Experience using Git and version control best practices. 
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications using Vertex AI and related AI services. 
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, agent tools, and AI-driven workflow orchestration. 
• Knowledge of GECX/CES solution patterns and customer experience platforms. 
• Experience building AI-powered customer experience solutions. 
• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI model integration and deployment. 
• Knowledge of conversational AI, intelligent agents, and automation platforms. 
• Experience working with enterprise cloud architectures and microservices. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 
• Experience supporting high-availability, production-grade enterprise applications. 
• Experience in customer experience transformation initiatives and AI-driven service modernization.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is  $ 53,580 to $122,400

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
