Job Description
The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong Scrum Master expertise and work closely with all stakeholders to successfully drive project outcomes.
The candidate will collaborate with the squad to deliver solutions for several technology initiatives and capabilities aligned with multiple business areas. This role involves working with core development teams and support teams to ensure efficient planning and execution. A strong understanding of business demands is essential to enable informed decision-making across all aspects of the team.
This position offers an interesting blend of business and technical responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver clear verbal and written communication are critical. The team works extensively with other IT members across all MSWM locations. The role demands a strong work ethic and requires extensive hands-on, active participation.

Responsibilities and Skills Required
Must have strong Finance or banking experience
A minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, along with project management experience and a proven track record of successful delivery in the Financial Services domain
A change agent with a passion for collaborative teamwork to support teams and deliver exceptional outcomes
Experience working in Agile teams with a solid understanding of Agile practices
Proficiency in facilitating Squad and Scrum meetings to ensure they are solutions-focused
Experience guiding Agile teams in establishing and adhering to norms and best practices
Ability to collaborate with team members to identify solutions for challenges and roadblocks
A continuous improvement mindset and dedication to identifying creative ways of working
Ability to influence behavior without relying on formal organizational authority
Strong commitment to cross-functional collaboration, communication, and breaking down silos
Work directly within a squad to drive performance using Agile values, practices, and processes
Partner with the Product Owner to support backlog management and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Monitor team performance using squad metrics dashboards and identify continuous improvement opportunities to enable smarter and more effective ways of working
Provide transparency to the Fleet Delivery Lead regarding risks, blockers, and impediments during Scrum of Scrums meetings, and recommend mitigation strategies for efficient operations
Conduct squad assessments to ensure Agile principles and best practices are consistently followed
Partner with Product Owners to plan quarterly IBRs, focusing on Strategic Objectives, Initiatives, and Capabilities aligned with the business roadmap, including prioritization and execution of modernization and hygiene work items
Participate in all Squad and Fleet ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, IBR planning, IBR check-ins, and Fleet demos
Serve as a squad coach by communicating proactively and providing recommendations to continuously improve squad effectiveness
Ensure Jira hygiene is maintained daily, maintain existing Jira dashboards, and create new, insightful dashboards to communicate data and drive performance improvements
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: :100,000 to 130,000
