Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer – Observability & Metrics
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Duration: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with a strong focus on observability and metrics to enhance platform reliability and visibility. This role will drive instrumentation, real-time monitoring, and automated remediation strategies to ensure high availability and performance across deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Instrument applications and LaunchDarkly using Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk dashboards.
• Track DORA KPIs including lead time, change failure rate (CFR), and mean time to recovery (MTTR), along with flag-specific metrics such as error rate, adoption, and latency.
• Develop alerting mechanisms and auto-remediation runbooks based on feature flag thresholds.
• Conduct chaos engineering and fault-injection drills to validate system resilience and maintain 99.9%+ availability.
• Mentor engineering teams on logging standards, distributed tracing, and SLO/SLA best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience in SRE or observability engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace and Grafana/Prometheus.
• Strong proficiency in SQL/KQL for log analytics and experience with OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with LaunchDarkly’s events API and webhook integrations.
• Experience with incident management tools such as ServiceNow.
