Job Description
The Kore.AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions using the Kore.ai platform. This role focuses on building virtual assistants, chatbots, and voice bots that integrate with enterprise systems, contact center platforms, and backend services. The engineer works closely with business stakeholders, architects, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing conversational experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy conversational bots using the Kore.ai platform for chat and voice-based use cases. Build and manage intents, utterances, entities, dialog flows, and conversation logic. Implement NLP/NLU configurations, context handling, and error/fallback strategies. Integrate bots with enterprise backend systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware. Develop and configure digital forms, data tables, and bot workflows within Kore.ai. Support IVR and contact center integrations (e.g., NICE, Genesys, telephony platforms) where applicable. Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange patterns. Perform bot testing, tuning, and optimization to improve accuracy, containment, and user experience. Monitor bot performance and usage metrics; support enhancements and production issues. Collaborate with UX, AI architects, and business teams to translate requirements into conversational designs. Document bot designs, integrations, and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience developing solutions on the Kore.ai platform. Strong understanding of conversational AI concepts (intents, entities, dialog management, NLU). Experience integrating bots with REST APIs and backend services. Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Node.js for custom logic and webhook development. Experience with chatbot and/or voice bot development in enterprise environments. Familiarity with contact center platforms (e.g., NICE, Genesys) or IVR flows is highly desirable. Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment concepts. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Kore.ai Basic or Advanced Certification. Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines). Exposure to analytics and reporting for conversational platforms. Experience with multi-language bots and enterprise-scale deployments. Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy considerations in conversational systems. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Typically 3-8+ years of overall IT experience with 2+ years hands-on Kore.ai development, depending on role seniority. Required Skills
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 80,000 - 120,000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
