Role & Profile

The role

We are looking for an engineer specialized in Python development, system integration and automation to contribute to the development and evolution of critical tools and applications

The role focuses on developing synchronization and integration functions between TeamTrack/SBM, GitHub, Jira and Artifactory, improving access-rights management, maintaining existing Python components, and supporting the migration and modernization of internal tooling.

The profile:

•        Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Development

•        Experience:6+years in web development and SCM management

•        In-depth knowledge of SCM tools (Git, SVN, ClearCase)

•        Proficiency in python oriented object programming

•        Scripting skills: Bash, PowerShell, SQL (query development and performance optimization)

•        Experience in working with SOAP, Rest

•        Knowledge of GitHub, Tuleap, Artifactory

•        Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD tools

•        Database expertise (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

•        Ability to work in secure network environment

Knowledge that could be a plus : PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, ColdFusion

Skills

Must Have:

•        Advanced Python development skills, including object-oriented programming and sound software design principles.

•        Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub, SCM concepts, branching workflows, and software delivery processes.

•        Hands-on experience with Jenkins or comparable CI/CD platforms.

•        Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and web services.

•        Good command of SQL and practical experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.

•        Scripting experience with Bash and/or PowerShell.

•        Ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues in enterprise environments.

•        Strong programming and software development skills

•        Strong logical and analytical thinking

•        ability to understand complex problems, design efficient algorithms, develop clean and maintainable code, troubleshoot issues, and optimize solutions for performance and scalability

•        Develop and maintain Python applications, scripts, and automation solutions.

•        Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications, including SmartDoc and TeamTrack
