Role Overview
This role will lead an end‑to‑end supply chain organization with responsibility for RPM (Raw & Packaging Materials) planning, production planning, distribution, automation, and supply chain planning transformation.
This role requires a strong people leader with deep operational expertise and a transformation mindset to drive efficiency, resilience, and scalability across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, develop, and coach a multi‑functional supply chain organization across planning, production, and distribution.
- Build succession plans and strengthen organizational capabilities across critical roles.
- Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, and continuous‑improvement culture.
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability across teams.
Supply Chain Planning & Operations
- Own RPM planning, ensuring material availability, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Lead production planning and scheduling to meet service, cost, and quality targets.
- Oversee distribution and logistics operations, ensuring optimal service levels and network efficiency.
- Drive strong end‑to‑end alignment between demand planning, supply planning, and execution.
Transformation & Automation
- Lead supply chain planning transformation initiatives, including standardization, digitization, and process redesign.
- Drive automation and system improvements (e.g., ERP, APS, planning and analytics tools).
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and enhance planning accuracy and responsiveness.
- Champion data‑driven decision‑making and advanced planning capabilities.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Define, monitor, and improve KPIs related to service level, inventory, cost, productivity, and forecast accuracy.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key partner to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, finance, and commercial.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to drive performance and collaboration.
- Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and transformation roadmaps clearly and effectively.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, planning, or operations.
- Strong people management experience, leading managers and professional teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in RPM planning, production planning, and distribution/logistics.
- Proven track record of leading supply chain automation and transformation initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- End‑to‑end understanding of integrated supply chain planning processes.
- Analytical, structured problem‑solver with a results‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead change and influence across multiple functions.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive‑level engagement.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Master’s degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP/CPIM, Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage.
