Position: Network Engineer - Audio Visual - Telecom Specialist

What you’ll do?

• Manufacturing and criticla data center contact: Serve as the on-site point of contact for all Business Unit requests and network requirements within Nissan production plants.
• Vendor & Procurement Management: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for IT and security infrastructure, including requesting quotes, managing purchase orders (POs), financial business case and supervising vendor deliveries ( Alestra , Soffteck and external third parties).
• Maintenance Coordination: Plan and execute maintenance windows during non-productive hours, weekends, and holidays to minimize business impact. Collaborate with multi displinary teams to review and validate business needs and network designs and hybrid connectivity requirements.
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain, implement, and troubleshoot security infrastructure solutions, including firewalls (FWs), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), VPNs, and load balancers.
• Patching and Versioning: Ensure the timely review and application of patches and version updates to mitigate vulnerabilities. Create top management and administrative request.
• Risk Assessment: Analyze and manage risks associated with Internet-facing services and VPN access.
• Any In-Flight Projects - e.g. Deployment of SASE and ZTNA architectures to transition toward a Zero Trust model, coupled with Microsegmentation to isolate critical OT/IT environments by ISE. SD-WAN Enforcement across Dealer Architecture to ensure network stability and the Colo Migration and Data Center BCP Plan. Ensure smooth integration with enterprise security frameworks and infrastructure.

• Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Management: Expertise in configuring and maintaining Palo Alto, Fortinet (FortiGate), or Cisco Firepower.
• Micro-segmentation Strategy: Advanced knowledge in creating granular security zones to isolate IT/OT environments and prevent lateral movement.
• VPN & Secure Access: Implementation of IPsec/SSL VPNs and transitioning to ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) within a SASE framework.
• Policy Enforcement: Proficiency in defining and auditing complex firewall rule sets to ensure compliance with global corporate standards.
