Role Overview

As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions for complex client environments. You are expected to act as a subject matter expert, drive client discussions, and ensure high-quality project execution aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Configure and optimize SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, COPA).
  • Act as the main point of contact for finance-related SAP topics with clients.
  • Provide functional leadership to junior consultants and offshore teams.
  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD) and external systems.
  • Support testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide strategic recommendations.

Expected Experience & Skills

  • 5–8+ years of SAP FICO experience, including end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and Mexican regulatory requirements (tax, e-invoicing CFDI is a plus).
  • Proven ability to lead workshops and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience working in global and multicultural environments.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1–C2 required).

Your profile:

Strong SAP ERP expertise in Financials, with deep focus on Cash Management, Treasury, and core processes such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.Solid functional understanding of Treasury and Banking operations, including payments, clearing systems, and financial instruments (investments and hedging).Proven ability to collaborate on integrated solutions, working closely with IT teams and leveraging external corporate banking platforms (e-Banking).
