Job description:
Project Manager - Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
Define project scope, objectives, RACI, timelines, milestones, and escalation paths aligned with security strategy.
Monitor progress, manage risks, escalate issues early, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Oversee project budgets, forecasting, accruals, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and procurement activities.
Collaborate with security teams on initiatives including vulnerability management, IAM, incident response, cloud security, and data protection.
Translate technical security requirements into actionable project plans and support integration of new security tools and processes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards as defined by PMO office and the Office of the CISO.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project‑related security risks; maintain documentation for audits, governance, and compliance reporting.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process/tool gaps and incorporating lessons learned.
Demonstrate strong ethical judgment, a security‑first mindset, and structured problem‑solving in high‑pressure situations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and updates.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams across security, IT, compliance, and business units.
Communicate project status, risks, and decision points clearly and effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
Provide concise updates, risk summaries, and decision points tailored to the audience.
Capture action items, ensure follow‑through, and facilitate meetings, requirements sessions, and security awareness activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; PMP, CAPM, SAFe, or similar certifications preferred.
3+ years of experience in Business Process, Project Management, or Program Delivery.
Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, as well as portfolio management.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and align technical and business stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, forecasting tools, Power BI dashboards, and collaboration/portfolio management platforms."
