Your Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will design, build, and operate core analytics data products and platforms that enable critical business insights across marketplace, hiring, and performance domains.

You will work with modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, AWS) to develop scalable pipelines, reliable data models, and high-quality datasets that power reporting and decision-making.

This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Python, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes, as well as a focus on data observability, pipeline reliability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python and dbt
• Design and maintain data models, tables, and Snowflake data warehouse structures
• Build robust ETL / ELT workflows for ingesting, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across pipelines and datasets
• Implement and enhance data observability and monitoring frameworks
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and proactively improve system performance
• Create and maintain analytics datasets to support reporting and business insights
• Develop dashboards and data outputs for stakeholders and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Analytics, Product) to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across data initiatives
• Work within AWS cloud environments to support scalable data processing and orchestration

Your Profile

Data Engineering Expertise – Strong experience in building and maintaining modern data platforms using SQL, Python, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).

Data Modeling & Transformation – Expertise in dbt and modular data transformations, ensuring scalable and well-documented data workflows.

Pipeline & Workflow Engineering – Proven experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and ensuring reliability in data processing systems.

Observability & Quality Focus – Ability to monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and improve data quality and system reliability.

Cloud & Scalability Mindset – Familiarity with AWS services and distributed data architectures.

Collaboration & Communication – Strong ability to partner with stakeholders, communicate insights, and drive alignment across teams.
