We are looking for adaptable and customer-focused Software Test Engineers to join our Automotive R&D organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with OEMs and Tier-1 customers to validate embedded software running on Electronic Control Units (ECUs), ensuring product quality through diagnostic testing, debugging, analysis, and verification activities.

This role requires strong technical curiosity, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate directly with customer engineering teams in fast-paced development environments.

Your role

• Automotive industry experience
• UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) knowledge and practical experience
• Strong communication skills
• Customer-facing attitude and collaboration mindset
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, projects, and technologies
• Execute software verification and validation activities for automotive ECUs.
• Analyze requirements and develop test cases.
• Perform diagnostic testing using UDS over CAN networks.
• Investigate software defects and support root cause analysis.
• Create clear and reproducible defect reports.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams.
• Debug embedded software issues and analyze system behavior.
• Use laboratory equipment to support testing activities.
• Document test results and ensure traceability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Support ASPICE-compliant development and testing practices.

Your profile

• 2 to 4 years in Automotive Software Testing, Validation, or Diagnostics.
• Strong UDS expertise
• CAN/CANoe advanced usage
• winIDEA debugging
• Embedded C troubleshooting
• Diagnostic analysis and defect isolation
• Laboratory instrumentation
• Customer interaction experience
• CAPL
• Python

• Vector tools
• Requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jama, etc.)

• Functional Safety awareness
