Job Description

Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module, with experience in implementations, enhancements, support, and integration with other SAP modules. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, configure solutions, and support end-to-end business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design SAP SD solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP SD processes including:
    • Sales Order Management
    • Shipping & Delivery
    • Billing & Invoicing
    • Pricing & Conditions
    • Credit Management
    • Returns and Intercompany Processes
  • Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, integrations, and custom developments.
  • Perform testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Support data migration and cutover activities.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SAP SD experience.
  • Hands-on configuration experience in SAP SD.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Experience integrating SAP SD with modules such as:
    • MM
    • FI/CO
    • WM/EWM
    • PP
  • Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA experience.
  • Experience with Fiori applications.
  • Experience in global or multinational environments.
  • SAP certification in SD or S/4HANA Sales.
  • Knowledge of IDocs, EDI, interfaces, and integrations.

Individual should be able to conceptualize a business or technical solution leveraging colleagues and partners and must mastered at least one methodology in depth and have an advanced knowledge of one or more business domains, and one or more SaaS or package software solutions. This role has wide knowledge of industry innovations and competitor activity and actively engage in, and contribute to, internal and external knowledge developments. Individual has the solution knowledge and consulting skills to lead process improvements, œas isor to be analysis on business processes andor or IT and can advise clients on the implementation of one or more package modules. This role is responsible for workshop facilitation, integration testing and user acceptance testing. Individual is seen as active member within technology communities. Certifications: maintain certifications on Saas or Package Based solution and relevant methodology‹
