Your Role

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Capgemini, you will lead quality assurance efforts for complex, large-scale projects, driving test automation strategies and ensuring high-quality delivery across APIs and integrated systems. You will act as a key point of contact for both internal teams and clients, providing visibility into quality metrics, supporting Agile ceremonies, and ensuring alignment across workstreams.

This is a hybrid role based in Aguascalientes, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

This role requires deep expertise in test automation frameworks, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced Agile environments.

 

Responsibilities & Scope

  • Participate actively in internal QA/Dev and client-facing stand-up calls, ensuring clear communication and responsiveness.
  • Provide Epic-level estimations following PI Planning.
  • Ensure proper creation of user stories, test cases, and 100% test coverage across deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain test plans in coordination with QA leads.
  • Track QA execution and deliverables at the Epic level, ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor and manage defects across workstreams through resolution.
  • Track and report test automation coverage, generating metrics and insights.
  • Support team members in resolving technical challenges related to test scripting and automation.
  • Ensure knowledge documentation through Wiki pages for new functionalities.
  • Lead and manage QA team activities, ensuring sprint and Epic commitments are met.
  • Provide quality metrics and insights on API health and performance.
  • Leverage appropriate tools and infrastructure to scale testing efforts effectively.
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance productivity and deliver higher-quality results.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • 9+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Strong expertise in Selenium, Java, RestAssured, and TestNG.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
