Your Role

As a Mobile Tester at Capgemini, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile and digital applications (iOS/Android platforms) through comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end user flows, integrations, and transactions, ensuring seamless digital experiences.

This role requires strong experience in mobile testing, particularly iOS, as well as a solid understanding of transactional systems and backend validations.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web/Digital (iOS) applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards, and back-office applications.
• Execute end-to-end transaction testing, including:
• Payments (credit/debit, mobile wallets)
• Discounts, returns, voids
• Cash transactions and web/mobile flows
• Log defects, track resolution, and perform retesting cycles.
• Ensure testing aligns with compliance and quality standards.
• Provide detailed test reports and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Mobile / Digital Testing.
• Strong understanding of retail or restaurant transaction flows.
• Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Experience debugging logs using Xcode and Logcat.
• Experience using HTTP proxy tools (Charles, Fiddler).
• Familiarity with ADB, Logcat, StackTrace, and debugging tools.
• Experience with test and defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries for backend validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
