Maximo Technical Lead

Location: Remote

We are looking for an experienced IBM Maximo Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and integration of Maximo solutions across our enterprise environments. This role will oversee complex system configurations, integrations, and custom development while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices. You will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders, guide a team of developers, and support upgrades and deployments within MAS environments.

What you’ll do?

* Lead the design and development of Maximo integrations using MIF, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms.

* Architect and implement system configurations including Domains, Database Configuration, Automation Scripts, Conditional UI, and Workflows.

* Oversee the development of custom Java classes, BIRT reports, and automation scripts.

* Manage, mentor, and support a team of Maximo developers and integration specialists.

* Collaborate with business analysts and key stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

* Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and CI/CD practices.

* Conduct code reviews, perform performance tuning, and troubleshoot integration issues.

* Support Maximo upgrades, data migrations, and deployments within MAS environments.

* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and integration maps.

 

What you’ll bring:

* Strong expertise with IBM Maximo (including MAS environments).

* Experience with MIF.

* Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs.

* Middleware integration experience.

* System configuration expertise.

* Java development.

* BIRT reporting.

* CI/CD and version control.

* Troubleshooting and performance tuning.

* Data migrations and upgrades.

 

Required Business Process Expertise

  • Must Have: Asset Management, Maintenance Management and Inventory Management.
  • Basic Knowledge: Procurement & Supplier Management, Service Request Management, Financial Management Related to Maintenance, Configuration & Lifecycle Management, and Cross-System Integrations.
  • Nice to Have: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Reporting & Compliance.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.

* 5+ years of IBM Maximo experience.
