Experience: 2–3 years
 
The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring product availability, proper production planning, and optimal inventory levels. This role works closely with the Demand Planning, MRP, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Market teams to guarantee supply continuity and service-level performance for finished goods.
 
  • Develop and execute production plans for a manufacturing site or product category within the FMCG industry.
  • Ensure balanced inventory levels and achieve key service metrics such as Fill Rate and Dispatch Rate.
  • Manage production KPIs and report performance deviations.
  • Coordinate activities across the end-to-end supply chain (Demand, Supply, Materials, Procurement, Logistics).
  • Perform long-term capacity planning and evaluate resource/machine utilization.
  • Optimize materials and resources to minimize costs, waste, and inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate information in planning systems (SAP, Oracle, or other ERPs).
  • Monitor slow movers, overstock risks, and backorder situations.
  • Create stock projections (12 to 24 months) and monitor inventory health including shelf life, damages, and obsolescence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, Six Sigma, APICS best practices).

Key responsibilities encompass: Technical Excellence: Transportation Management Systems TMS,Warehouse Management Systems WMS, Order Management Systems OMS, and Route Optimization Software Oversee the order management process from order entry to delivery. Lead a team of order management analysts. Ensure data accuracy and timely processing of orders. Resolve complex order related issues and customer complaints. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
