Looker (with Gemini) Developer

Your Role

 

  • As a Looker Developer (Google Cloud & Gemini), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing modern analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. You will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, analytics teams, and AI specialists to transform reporting and semantic layers from legacy BI platforms into scalable Looker-based analytics ecosystems.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust LookML models, migrating and mapping Power BI reporting logic, and aligning semantic models with enterprise Knowledge Catalog and data product standards. You will also leverage Google Cloud AI and Gemini capabilities to accelerate analytics development, improve data consumption experiences, and support the evolution toward AI-powered business intelligence.

 

Your Profile

 
  • 5+YOE in developing and maintaining LookML models in Looker.
  • Experience analyzing and mapping Power BI reports, data models, and query logic.
  • Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
  • Experience designing semantic layers, metrics, dimensions, and business logic frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytics services.
  • Understanding of enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging practices.
  • Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and modern analytics architectures.
  • Experience supporting production analytics environments.
  • Fluent English level
