Your Role
At Capgemini, the L3 Support Engineer (Python & MongoDB) operates as a senior technical escalation point, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical production systems. This role combines deep technical expertise with a strong ownership mindset, enabling rapid resolution of complex issues while driving long-term reliability and optimization initiatives.
As a mid-to-senior professional, you are expected to work autonomously, influence technical decisions, and collaborate cross-functionally to elevate service quality and operational excellence.
Responsibilities & Scope
- Act as the final escalation point (L3) for complex incidents affecting Python-based applications and MongoDB environments.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts and implement sustainable fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure high availability and performance of production systems through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Design and develop automation scripts, monitoring tools, and diagnostic utilities to enhance support efficiency.
- Partner with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve system architecture and resiliency.

- Demonstrates advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking, navigating complex production environments with precision and accountability.
- Shows ownership and resilience, taking end-to-end responsibility for incident resolution and system stability in high-impact scenarios.
- Applies deep technical expertise in Python, MongoDB, and distributed systems, continuously driving performance and reliability improvements.
