Junior Cloud Data Engineer (Academy Program)

Location: Aguascalientes

Role Overview

We are seeking recent graduates (0–1 year of experience) interested in developing a career in Cloud Data Engineering.

This position is part of a structured development program focused on building foundational capabilities in data and cloud technologies. The role provides the opportunity to gain practical experience while supporting data-related activities under the guidance of experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data processing activities
  • Work with SQL for data extraction, validation, and basic analysis
  • Assist in cloud-based data tasks using platforms such as Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Collaborate with senior team members in the design and maintenance of data solutions
  • Contribute to data quality, consistency, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Participate in Agile team routines and ongoing training sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience (internships or academic projects are acceptable)
  • Advanced English level

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of data or database concepts
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL
  • General understanding of data processing or ETL concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Exposure (academic or project-based) to cloud or data tools such as Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Basic knowledge of Python
