Java Nearshore

As a Senior Java Developer at Capgemini, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant solutions aligned with modern architecture and cloud practices.

This role requires strong hands-on experience in Java ecosystem, frontend frameworks, cloud technologies, and DevOps, as well as the ability to drive best practices in software engineering and system design.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design and develop robust backend services using Java 17 and Spring ecosystem.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Work across the stack, collaborating on frontend applications (React / Angular) when needed.
• Integrate and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure code quality through best practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support cloud-based deployments and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues using monitoring tools.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
