Job Description
Your Role
As a Senior Integration Specialist DBX, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and delivering modern data and application integrations within complex enterprise environments. You’ll bring strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark, Java and SQL, combining integration development with cloud and DevOps practices.
At senior level, you’ll be expected to take ownership of integrations end to end, from requirements analysis and technical design through development, testing, deployment and production support. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, bringing your technical expertise to solve integration challenges and continuously improve scalable, reliable solutions.
Your Profile
- Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark and SQL, with the ability to build scalable, reliable data and integration solutions.
- Solid integration development experience, working with Java, APIs, cloud services, data platforms and technologies such as XML and JSON.
- End-to-end ownership mindset, confidently driving requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
- DevOps and continuous delivery capabilities, leveraging Git, CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Nexus or Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, collaborating effectively across teams, documenting technical solutions and bringing complex integration challenges to resolution.

- Integration development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark preferred; Scala a plus).
- Solid understanding of Delta Lake (ACID, MERGE, OPTIMIZE/ZORDER, vacuuming, time travel).
- Experience integrating with cloud storage and data services (Azure/AWS/GCP) and using JDBC connectors.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modelling concepts (dimensional, lakehouse patterns).
- Experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical documentation capabilities
- Agile framework and delivery lifecycle management
- Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT/XPath expressions, SQL, JMS, CFX
- DevOps Tooling: Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, JIRA
- NoSQL Database Experience such as MongoDB
