Data Engineer-Snowflake

Requirements: 

• 5+YOE in Data Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (or similar tools such as CloudFormation or Bicep).
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Linux and command-line environments.
• Experience with Docker and foundational knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing observability solutions (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Strong understanding of IAM, cloud security, and secret management.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with secret management systems such as Vault or KMS.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, firewalls, private endpoints).
• Background working in DevOps or SRE-oriented environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud-based data platforms.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines, analytics workloads, and platform components.
• Set up and standardize monitoring, alerting, and logging for data jobs, services, and platform infrastructure.
• Manage IAM, secrets, networking, and security baselines following best practices.
• Continuously improve system reliability, availability, and performance using SRE principles.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and efficient resource usage across data platforms.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Security teams to define platform standards and best practices.
• Document architectures, operational procedures, and platform guidelines
