Data Engineer - Snowflake

Job Description

The ideal canddiate should be able to Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data driven applications. 

Location: Any State of Mexico

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions
• 2+ years managing a team in a data engineering capacity
• Must have 2+ years Snowflake architectural experience

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell)
• Tools: Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, or similar ELT/ETL tools
• Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA

Key Responsibilities 

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion ( or similar ELT/ETL tools) ). 
• Architecting new patterns within Snowflake, defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake 
• Cloud Migration: Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions. 
• Data Governance & Quality: Ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation. 
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs.
