DATA ARCHITECT WITH GCP

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Data Architecture Experience. Ability to understand dataflow requirements, data movement patterns, and automation strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP as the central data platform.
  • Familiarity with tools like BigQuery and Cloud Composer.
  • ETL and Data Pipeline Development. Designing and building ingestion, transformation, and consolidation processes.
  • Data Integration from External Sources. Working with third-party data (e.g., Excel files shared via email) and automating manual workflows.
  • Awareness of BI Tool Dependencies. Understanding how architectural decisions affect downstream tools like Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Troubleshooting Data Platform Issues. Supporting analysts when reports fail by investigating issues within the GCP data infrastructure.
  • Fluent English level, this position will be working with global teams

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Composer and familiarity with other orchestration or workflow tools.
  • Data Governance and Quality Practices. Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Architectural Decision-Making. Evaluating and recommending tools, services, and configurations to optimize the data platform.
