Data Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience designing and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on building scalable data models, data warehouses, and integrations that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings solid hands‑on experience with BigQuery, SQL, orchestration tools, and data integrations, and can collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and BI solutions on GCP.
- Develop and optimize SQL scripts and BigQuery datasets.
- Build and manage data pipelines using Airflow (DAGs), Terraform, and Dataform.
- Implement data integrations from multiple sources including SAP, Azure, Oracle, APIs, and other platforms.
- Support reporting and analytics using Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business strategy.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer, with 3–5 years on GCP.
- Strong expertise in:
- Google BigQuery
- Data Modeling, Data Warehousing & BI
- Advanced SQL scripting
- Airflow, Terraform, Dataform
- Power BI
- Data integration across heterogeneous platforms
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
- Understanding of Scrum/Agile delivery models.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Azure and data quality tools.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas / Oilfield terminology and business processes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Mentoring or leadership experience.
