Your Role

As an Automation Tester at Capgemini, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. You will work closely with development and QA teams to validate applications and improve testing efficiency using modern automation frameworks.

This role requires hands-on experience in Selenium with Java and/or Playwright, as well as the ability to contribute to automation strategies and integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and/or Playwright.
• Execute and maintain automation test suites to ensure application quality and stability.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and processes.
• Integrate and execute automation jobs within CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Support testing activities across different phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Ensure test coverage and participate in regression testing cycles.

Your Profile

• 1–3 years of experience in QA / Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Selenium + Java
• Playwright (preferred or exposure)
• Experience writing automation test scripts.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools and automation job execution.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in automation practices.
