Position: Regional Buyer- Resale (Americas)

Location: any state of Mexico

What you’ll do?

  • Lead procurement activities related to software, cloud, hardware, and technology resale opportunities.
  • Support Sales and Deal Teams by delivering competitive, compliant, and commercially attractive partner solutions to clients.
  • Manage procurement activities tied to revenue-generating opportunities, ensuring responsiveness and timely execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and business stakeholders throughout client pursuits and commercial opportunities.
  • Manage supplier and partner relationships, including contract negotiations, renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology partners and alliance stakeholders.
  • Drive margin improvement, cost optimization, and commercial value creation initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, and Procurement teams throughout sourcing and contracting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and partner program standards.
  • Challenge and appropriately escalate requests that do not align with company policies or approved procurement processes.
  • Balance business urgency with proper governance, risk management, and procurement controls.
  • Provide reporting, analytics, and commercial recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Americas Procurement team, Global Lead Buyers, Bid Support Managers, and key business stakeholders.
  • Support business growth by enabling revenue-generating opportunities while protecting commercial margins.

 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, Alliance Management, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience supporting technology resale, channel, distribution, or partner-based business models.
  • Strong experience negotiating supplier contracts, commercial agreements, and pricing structures.
  • Experience supporting Sales organizations, client pursuits, or deal-based procurement activities.
  • Knowledge of software, cloud, hardware, and technology procurement.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with strategic technology partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cisco, Dell, HP, or similar technology ecosystems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Procurement Certification is a plus.
