SAP EAM Consultant
Your Role
- Lead SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution design and configuration activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Analyse and review existing PM configurations in brownfield environments, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing changes with minimal impact to business operations.
- Manage and maintain PM master data, including Equipment, Functional Locations, Measuring Points, BOMs, Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Work Centres, and Planner Groups to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support system integration initiatives by performing functional analysis, data mapping, field-level validation, integration testing, and defect resolution across interconnected applications.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements, document business processes, conduct gap analyses, and develop functional design solutions.
- Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including configuration workbooks, process design documents, test scripts, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials to enable successful project delivery and operational support.
Your Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) functional consulting experience.
- Proven experience as a lead consultant or key functional consultant in at least one SAP implementation, rollout, or major transformation program.
- Strong experience supporting brownfield SAP environments, including configuration assessment, optimisation, and documentation.
- Deep understanding of SAP PM master data structures and maintenance processes.
- Experience supporting API-based and system integration solutions, including data mapping and integration testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.Strong documentation and business process design capabilities.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
DESIRABLE
• SAP Integration Suite, BTP or equivalent middleware exposure.
• SAP MM / procurement knowledge, especially external service procurement and contractor processes.
• Utilities, infrastructure, asset management, parks/facilities or local government experience.
• Agile/SAFe, SAP Activate and Lean Service Management familiarity.
• Strong consulting presence, stakeholder management and capability to support future NZ/AU growth.
