UK Pre-Sales Solutions Lead - Advanced Networks
Your role
You are an energetic technical leader and industry expert with a clear passion for the solutions delivered, able to inspire both clients and delivery teams. You deeply understand client needs, assess and challenge existing environments, and provide strategic leadership on the transformation and evolution of communications, networking, and wider digital solutions. Using strong consultancy skills, you build trusted relationships throughout the sales lifecycle and early delivery phases, leading to long-term engagement with senior technical leaders and CxOs across the Connectivity, Networks, and Smart/Digital Engineering portfolios.
You lead and motivate a high-performing pre-sales solutions architecture team to exceed sales and billing targets, while working closely with multi‑functional delivery teams to ensure successful execution. Comfortable in a matrix environment, you take accountability for outcomes, step in when delivery risks arise, and always act in the best interests of both clients and the wider Capgemini Group.

Your profile
We are seeking a highly experienced technical leader with a strong academic background in science or engineering and extensive experience working across complex client environments. You will bring deep expertise in digital R&D and engineering, with a proven track record in client‑facing roles such as solutions architecture, technical consulting, or pre‑sales engineering, spanning multiple technologies including mobile, fixed, voice, and mission‑critical communications. You will be comfortable engaging senior stakeholders up to CxO level, communicating fluently in English, and operating across near‑shore and offshore engineering teams.
You will lead high‑value, complex engagements from pre‑sales through to delivery and closure, combining strong sector knowledge—particularly in R&D—with sound commercial, financial, and project‑planning acumen. Highly client‑ and team‑focused, you will demonstrate excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and negotiation skills, along with the flexibility to work away from home when required.
