Test Automation Consultant

Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated 5G Test Automation Engineer to support the testing and validation of next-generation 5G Core network solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing test frameworks, executing performance and provisioning tests, and coordinating testing activities across multiple teams.
 

Location: Reading (Onsite)
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Working Pattern: This role requires 5 days per week onsite in Reading to support close collaboration with project stakeholders and delivery teams.

Your Profile

  • Refine JMeter load scripts for 5G UDR and N7 interface support.
  • Document JMeter artifacts and test scenarios.
  • Evaluate existing API automation frameworks against the 5G solution.
  • Help build the 5GSA-compliant REST API framework.
  • Validate 5GSA provisioning across various APN profiles.
  • Oversee test schedule , cross-team coordination, and reporting.

  1. All roles will require a level of security clearance; BPSS OR Security Clearance OR Developed Vetting.
  2. Location: Reading
  3. Hybrid Working: This is a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract with Capgemini Engineering. Due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite in Reading 5 days per week. 
    There is also the opportunity for the role to be converted into a permanent position at the end of the contract, subject to business requirements and individual performance.
