OSS Data Architect
Your role
Capgemini Engineering is looking for OSS Data Architect who will be the senior technical authority responsible for designing the end-to-end data extraction, connectivity, and ingestion architecture. You will define the technical strategy and standardized patterns for integrating dozens of complex, on-premise Operations Support Systems (OSS) with the Cloud Platform preferably GCP.

Your profile
Required Skills & Experience:
- Overall 12-15+ years’ experience with 8-10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a significant focus on data integration, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing in large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience designing and implementing data integration solutions for a wide range of telecommunications OSS domains (e.g., Inventory, Performance, Fault, Provisioning, Ticketing etc).
- Expert-level knowledge of multiple data ingestion patterns, including batch file processing, API integration (REST/SOAP), RDBMS querying (JDBC), and real-time data streaming (CDC, Kafka, etc.).
- Deep understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity and security principles, including VPNs, dedicated interconnects, firewalls, and API security.
- Demonstrated ability to create and govern reusable architectural patterns and technical standards for large-scale development teams.
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Interconnect, and Apigee.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD principles in a data context (DataOps).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and mentor other engineers.
